Anabela Pereira is an Associate Professor with Aggregation at the Department of Education and Psychology at the University of Aveiro and collaborator at Center for Health Technology and Services Research (CINTESIS) – AgeingC Research Group.

Professor Anabela Pereira is a psychologist, with a specialty in Clinical and Health Psychology, Educational Psychology and Psychotherapy, recognized by the Portuguese Psychologists Association (OPP).

Her research interests have been focused on the areas of interface between Health Psychology and Educational Psychology, specifically stress, anxiety and mental health promotion. She has several works and supervisions of Master’s dissertations and PhD theses in the scope of Psycho-Oncology, focusing on psychological distress, group intervention in breast cancer survivors (cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychoeducation) and validation of assessment instruments.
