Rita Tavares is a collaborator member at the Center for Health Technology and Services Research (CINTESIS) – AgeingC Research Group; and a collaborator member at the Research Centre on Didactics and Technology in the Education of Trainers (CIDTFF) – Research Group on Science, Technology and Innovation.

She has a PhD in Multimedia in Education from the University of Aveiro, a degree in Basic Education from the same university and is an accredited trainer in Educational Technologies – Audiovisual Media.

She has professional and academic experience in the development of digital educational content and resources (e.g., mobile applications), digital learning environments (e.g., virtual worlds), Educational Data Mining, Participatory Design, User-Centered Design, Universal Design (for Learning), and User Experience Design.

Rita Tavares collaborates in this project in the field of Digital Technologies, more specifically in aspects related to the technological development and the user experience of the digital platform.
