Sara Monteiro is an Invited Auxiliary Professor at the Department of Education and Psychology at the University of Aveiro and an integrated member at Center for Health Technology and Services Research (CINTESIS) – AgeingC Research Group.

Professor Sara Monteiro is a psychologist, with a specialty in Clinical and Health Psychology recognized by the Portuguese Psychologists Association (OPP).

Her research area has been focused on Health Psychology, having extensive clinical and research experience in Psycho-Oncology, including group intervention (cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychoeducation), psychosocial adjustment, needs, work ability, reproductive concerns in young cancer survivors, focusing on both patients and their caregivers.

Professor Sara Monteiro collaborates in this project in the field of Psycho-Oncology and Clinical Intervention.
